My goals, as a former Miss Massachusetts crown holder.

Lauren provides guidance and counseling to students interested in pursuing an education at a Top US University, gaining admission to health professional programs (medical, dental, veterinary school, etc.), and finding ways to finance their education.  If you are interested in these services, please use the "Contact" feature for more information.

1) Make myself available to others to share my past experiences.  Learning from mistakes is valuable, but learning from history without having to repeat it is a better idea.  Through mentorship and sharing with young students at career fairs, STEM conferences, and dental application events, I hope to share the lessons I've learned in hopes of helping future leaders achieve their goals.

2)  Remain a positive role-model in a time when society and media often focus on negative images.

3)  Advocate for attainable higher education, fair educational expenses, and programs that encourage young women to pursue their scholarly goals.  I will accomplish this goal through continued legislative advocacy on the state and national level, as well as the annual scholarship I established in 2014 for a female student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

The future holds many volunteer opportunities for me in the Miss America Organization where I will have the opportunity to further empower women.  One day, it is my goal to further the scholarships available to the students of my alma mater high school and host a workshop for higher education applications and scholarships.  There is not a single path to success.
